and the President and Board of Managers of said
Childrens' Aid Society of Baltimore, are hereby
vested in regard to all minors, male or female,
with all the rights, powers and authority, which,
the Home of the Friendless or the President and
Managers thereof by said Public Local Laws of
Baltimore city, are vested with in regard to female
minors, and are to observe the same forms and reg-
ulations in regard to the binding out, adopting or
otherwise disposing of minors, male and female,
committed to them by virtue of this law, except
that the President and Board of Managers of the
Children's Aid Society, may bind out or dispose
of male minors committed to them until twenty-
one years of age.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the Comptrol-
ler be and he is hereby directed to issue his war-
rant upon the Treasurer to pay to the order of the
President and Treasurer of the Childrens' Aid
Society of Baltimore, three thousand dollars, to
enable said society to puchase a house and lot to
be used as a home for destitute children committed
to its charge.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect and be in force from, and after its pas-
sage.

AN ACT to change the place of voting in Myers'
District, Carroll county.
|

|

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the place of holding elections
in Myers' District, in Carroll county, be and the
same is hereby changed from the house of Peter
E. Myers, where elections have heretofore been
held, to any house in Myersville, in said district,
which the judges of election, or a majority of them
may select.
