AN ACT to change the name of Augustas Fowk
Robertson, of Charles county, to William Au-
gustus Fowk.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the name of Augustus Fowk
Roberrson, of Charles county, be and the same is
hereby changed to William Augustus Fowk; and
it shall be lawful for the heretofore Augustus
Fowk Robertson, at all times hereafter, to be
called and known by, hold and use the name of
William Augustus Fowk, and by that name to
hold, receive, purchase, sell, convey or devise
property, sue or be sued in any Court of Law or
Equity, and to do and perform all legal acts and
things just as fully as if his name was not changed
by the provisions of this act.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 292.
|

AN ACT in relation to the Elkton, Andora and
Lewisville Plank and Turnpike Road Company,
requiring them to put their road in perfect re-
pair, and prohibiting them from collecting tolls
until said repairs are made.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland , That the Elkton, Andora and Lew-
isville Plank and Turnpike Road Company be and
they are hereby required to proceed at once, by
the use of stones, gravel and sand, to put their
said road in complete repair as a turnpike road;
and that until said repairs are effected, the said
company shall be and they are hereby prohibited
from collecting any tolls upon, said road.
