proper court of said city, that said John Showacre
and J. L. Maguire were then and there Justices of
the Peace as aforesaid; therefore,

Made valid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the deed from said John
Thomas Adams and Mary Ann Adams to the
Vestry of Coventry Parish of Somerset and Wor-
cester counties be and declared to be good and
valid, according to the true intent and meaning of
the parties, as if the same had been duly and
properly acknowledged and certified.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the day of its passage.

AN ACT appropriating a sum of money for legal
services rendered by Thomas S. Alexander and
Thomas Donaldson at the request of the Comp-
troller.
|

Authorized
to pay.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer is hereby directed
to pay, on the warrant of the Comptroller, to
Thomas S. Alexander and Thomas Donaldson,
each, the sum of five hundred dollars in full com-
pensation for their services in the case of the State
vs. Savings Bank of Baltimore, in the Superior
Court of Baltimore city, and in the Court of
Appeals, and in adjusting with the banks of the
city of Baltimore, other than the Bank of Balti-
more, the accounts of the Comptroller for State
taxes.

take effect from its passage.
