AN ACT to compensate Jeremiah Babylon, late
Sheriff of Carroll county, and Joseph Ebaugh,
present Sheriff of said county, for services ren-
dered under a requisition of the Governor.

to pay.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer be and he is
hereby authorized and directed, upon the warrant
of the Comptroller, to pay to Jeremiah Babylon
and Joseph Ebaugh the sum of fifty dollars each,
for services rendered under a requisition of the
Governor.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 235.

AN ACT to make valid a deed from George Show-
er to the Trustees of Daniel and Jacob Lodge,
in Manchester, Carroll county.

Made valid.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That a deed executed by George
Shower of Manchester, Carroll county, to the
Trustees of Daniel and Jacob Lodge, number
twenty-three I. O. O. F. of the county aforesaid,
dated on the seventeenth day of April, eighteen
hundred and sixty-two, and recorded among the
land Records in Carroll county, be and the same

is hereby declared and made good and valid in
law.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
