CHAPTER 229.

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and forty-
nine, Article six, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
|
|
Repealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the one hundred and forty-
ninth section of the sixth Article of the Code of
Public Local Laws, fixing the per diem and mile-
age of the Judges of the Orphans' Court of Caro-
line county, be and the same is hereby repealed.
|

Allowances.
|
Sec. 2, Be it enacted, That the Judges of the
Orphan's Court of Caroline county, shall each, re-
ceive two dollars and fifty cents per day for each
day's attendance, and five cents a mile for every
mile that his place of residence is distant from
Denton, but such mileage shall not be computed
for returning home.

Sec. 3. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
