CHAPTER 221.

AN ACT for the benefit and relief of the Presi-
dent and Managers of the High Street Wharf
Company.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the President and Managers
of the High Street Wharf Company be and they
are hereby authorized to sell at public sale all the

wharf property owned and possessed by the said
company; provided, a majority of the stockholders
of the said company shall, at a meeting thereof
for the purpose, to be called after notice of at least
three successive weeks, inserted in some newspaper
published in the town of Cambridge, consent to
said sale.

Proviso.
|

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That said sale shall
be made upon such terms and after such notice as
a majority of the said stockholders shall direct.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the purchaser
of the said wharf property shall hold and possess
the same, as real estate, and with all the rights
and privileges incident thereto, as exercised and
enjoyed by the said President and Managers of the
High Street Wharf Company.

AN ACT to refund to the infant children of Sam-
uel D. Walker, deceased, the tax paid by him
on his commission as Flour Inspector.
|

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he is
hereby directed to draw his warrant on the Trea-
surer in favor of Jacob Walker, of Frederick
county, guardian of the infant children of Sam-
uel D. Walker, deceased, for the sum of two hun-
