CHAPTER 212

9, 1864.

AN ACT to authorize the Trustees of the Metho-
dist Episcopal Church in the East Baltimore
Station to sell and convey certain real estate in
the city of Baltimore.

Authorized
to sell.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Trustees of the Methodist
Episcopal Church in the East Baltimore Station,
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered
to sell and convey in fee simple, or to lease for a
term of years to such person or persons, and for
such consideration as they may deem proper, all
those five lots or parcels of ground known and dis-
tinguished on a plat of that part of the city of
Baltimore called "Rogers Addition," by the num-
bers 481, 490, 499, 508, and 517, (four hundred
and eigfity-one, four hundred and ninety, four
hundred and ninety-nine, five hundred and eight,
and five hundred and seventeen,) which, by a deed
of conveyance, dated the first day of March,
eighteen hundred and thirty-two, and recorded
among the land records of Baltimore county, in
Liber W. G., number two hundred and seventeen,
folio four, &c., were granted and conveyed in fee
simple by Frederick Shaffer and John McMyer to
the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church in
the East Baltimore Station aforesaid.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
