How costs are
to be paid.
|
Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the proportion
of the costs of the said improvements which may
be assessed against the said State as aforesaid,
shall be paid by the Weighmaster of Live Stock
in Baltimore city, out of his receipts as such, and
that the said payment shall be made from time to
time on the requisition of the said commissioners.
|
Governor to
fill vacancies.
|
Sec. 5. And be it enacted. That in the event of
a refusal on the part of the said commissioners or
any of them to act as such, and in the event of
any vacancy in said board for any cause, the Gov-
ernor shall be and hereby is authorized to appoint
another person or persons so refusing to accept or
vacating his or their office.

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to alter and change the name of Thomas
Holloway Carey, of Worcester county, to that
of Thomas Holloway.
|
Name
changed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of
this act, the name of Thomas Holloway Carey, of
Worcester county, be and the same is hereby
changed to that of Thomas Holloway, and by that
name he shall hereafter be called and known, and
sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, in any
court of law or equity of this State.
