Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the
duty of the said Elijah Thompson, before he pro-
ceeds to execute the property of any person or per-
sons for fees or taxes in virtue of this act, to
deliver to such person or persons chargeable with
the same, at least thirty days previous to the levy-
ing of such execution, a fair account in writing of
the fees or taxes demanded of him, her or them,
and.au affidavit thereto annexed that be hath not,
directly or indirectly, received any part thereof,
or any security or satisfaction for the same more
than the credits given, to the best of his knowledge.

AN ACT to make valid a deed from Catharine
Boyle, Levina Boyle, Catherine A. Stubbs, Cor-
nelius Boyle, Junius J.Boyle, Nicholas B. Boyle
and John F. Boyle, of Washington county, Dis-
trict of Columbia, to William E. Stubbs, of
Montgomery county.

Passed Feb.
18, 1864.

WHEREAS, The said Catharine Boyle, Levina
Boyle, Catharine A. Stubbs, Cornelius Boyle, Ju-
nius J. Boyle, Nicholas B. Boyle and John F.
Boyle, of Washington county, District of Colum-
bia, executed unto the said William E. Stubbs, of
Montgomery county, on the twenty-first day of
August, in the year eighteen hundred and forty-
nine, a deed conveying certain lands, lying and
being situate in the county aforesaid, recorded in
Liber S. T. S., number four, folios four hundred
and fourteen and four hundred and fifteen, one of
the land records of Montgomery county; and
whereas, the said deed was not attested as pre-
scribed and directed by law; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the deed executed by Catharine
Boyle, Levina Boyle, Catharine A. Stubbs, Corne-
