CHAPTER 180.

Passed Feb.
18, 1864.

AN ACT entitled an act to authorize the Trustees
of a parsonage lot in Baltimore county to exe-
cute a deed of conveyance in fee.

Authorized

deed.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Amor Richards, Joshua Mur-
ray, John Jones, Jesse M. Henkle and Lewis R.
F. Harden, Trustees of the parsonage of the Meth-
odist Protestant Church in Woodensbury, Balti-
more county, be and they are hereby authorized to
execute a deed of conveyance in fee, for the said
parsonage, to John B. Slade, of said county.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act take
effect from the day of its passage.

 

CHAPTER 181.

Passed Feb.
18, 1864.

AN ACT to allow Elijah Thompson, Trustee of
Daniel H. Candler, late Sheriff and Collector
of Montgomery county, further time to complete
his collections.

Time extend-
ed.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of
this act, Elijah Thompson, Trustee of Daniel H.
Candler, late Sheriff and Collector of Montgomery
county, be and he is hereby authorized, until the
first day of April, eighteen hundred and sixty-six,
to collect all sums of money and balances due him
as Sheriff and Collector for Montgomery county,
in the same manner which the said Elijah Thomp-
son, Trustee, could or might have done within the

Proviso.

time now limited by law; provided, that nothing
in this act shall be construed to prevent the Comp-
troller from enforcing the payment of any sums of
money that may be due the State.
