LAWS OF MARYLAND.

lius Boyle, Junius J. Boyle, Nicholas B. Boyle
and John F. Boyle, of Washington county, Dis-
trict of Columbia, on the twenty-first day of Au-
gust, in the year eighteen hundred and forty-nine,
ani recorded in Liber S. T. S., number four, folios
four hundred and fourteen and four hundred and
fifteen, one of the land records of Montgomery
county, be and the same is hereby made valid to
all intents and purposes, as if attested as prescribed
by law.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

 

CHAPTER 183.

Passed Feb.
18, 1864.

AN ACT to authorize Joshua Dill, Administrator
of Jacob Hill, a free negro, deceased, to pay over
the balance upon settlement of the final account
of the estate of said deceased, to Richard H.
Murdock, of Frederick county, in trust for the
use and benefit of George Hill, son of said Ja-
cob Hill, who is the slave of the said Murdock.

Authorized
to pay.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Joshua Dill, of Frederick
county, Administrator of Jacob Hill, a free negro,
deceased, be and he is hereby authorized to pay
over the balance ascertained on the settlement of
his final account of the said estate, in the Orphans'
Court of Frederick county, to Richard H. Mur-
dock, in trust for the use and benefit of George
Hill, the son of the said Jacob Hill, who is a slave
belonging to the said Richard H. Murdock, and
upon the receipt of the said balance of money, the
said Richard H. Murdock is hereby authorized to

give to the said Administrator a full legal discharge
therefor; provided, that before said Richard H.
Murdock shall receive said balance, in trust for
said George Hill, he shall give bond to the State
of Maryland, with good and sufficient sureties, to
