preceding section, into effect.

AN ACT to amend the fifteenth section of the
first Article of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Allegany. county, in relation to the mileage
of the. County. Commissioners of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the fifteenth section of the
first Article of the Code of Public Local Laws,
relating to the mileage of the County Commis-
sioners of Allegany county, be and the same is
hereby amended and re-enacted so as to read as
follows:

re-enacted.

15. They shall be entitled to three dollars a day
for each day they are in session, and twelve cents
a mile for going to and returning from each meet-
ing, if they reside out of Cumberland; but such
mileage shall not be allowed more than once for a
session of two or more consecutive days.
|
Compensation.
|
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
|
