AN ACT, to make valid a deed, from Eliza-
beth Gearhart, Francis M. Bloom and Eliza
Bloom, his wife, Joseph Wagoner and Susan
Wagoner, his wife, William S. Blake and Cath-
arine Blake, his wife, and John H. Wagoner, and
Margaret, Wagoner his wife, to Joel W. Marsh.

WHEREAS, by a deed, dated the sixth day of
April, in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-
three, Elizabeth Gearhart, William S. Blake and
Catharine Blake, his wife, John H. Wagoner and
Margaret Wagoner, his wife; all of Washington
county in this State; Joseph Wagoner and Susan
Wagqner his Wife, of Ogle county, in the State of
Illinois; and Francis Bloom and Eliza Bloom, his
wife, of. Blair county, in the State of Pennsyl-
vania,; q id convey to Joel W. Marsh, of Wash-
ington county, a certain tractor parcel of land,
therein in described, lying in said Washington coun-
ty for the sum. of four hundred and fifteen dollars
and fifty cents: but the said deed is defective, for
the want pf the proper acknowledgments, made
before some officer duly authorized by law to take
acknowledgments thereof, on the part of said
Francis and Eliza Bloom .

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That said deed, be and the same is
hereby made valid to all intents and purposes, as
if the said aknowledgments had been made before
an officer authorized by law to take such acknow-
ledgment.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act, shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
