AN ACT to authorize Benjamin Mason, of Har-
ford county, to act in the double capacity of
Justice of the Peace and Postmaster.

SECTION 1. S e it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Benjamin Mason, of Harford
county, be and he is hereby authorized to act in
the double capacity of Justice of the Peace and
Postmaster in said county.
|
In force.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
|

CHAPTER 12.

AN ACT to amend section first, article fourth of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Dorchester
county, relating to Justices of the Peace, by ad-
ding thereto the following:

Justices of the
Peace.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That in addition to the Justices of
the Peace heretofore authorized by law in election
district number seven, wherein the town of Cam-
bridge is situated, there shall be one additional
Justice of the Peace appointed by the Governor,
who shall hold his office until the next regular
election in this State.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That at the next reg-
ular election, and at every regular election there-
after, there shall be chosen by the qualified voters
of district number seven four Justices of the Peace,
two of which shall be residents of the town of
Cambridge.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
