CHAPTER 101.

Passed Feb.
8, 1864.

AN ACT to change and alter School Districts num-
ber twenty and number twenty-one; in Caroline
county, so as to attach the following described
district to the Opossum Hill district, and elect-
ing Trustees for the same.

tricts changed

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That school districts numbers twenty
and twenty-one, in Caroline county, be changed
and altered so as to attach the following described
district to the Opossum Hill school district, to wit:
Commencing at the new road in district number
twenty, near Toy Dwiggen's, with said road to
Ezekiel-Eaton's; thence by and including Henry
Bowdle's farm; thence to the branch leading to
Smith's mill pond; then up said branch to the
Meloney farm, and including said farm; then from
the northwest boundary of said farm, in a south-
westerly direction, until it intersects the main road
leading from Potter's Landing, to Hubbard's Cross
Roads, between the farm whereon Thomas Bea-
champ, Sr., now resides, and his out farm next
the said Cross Roads.

Power to
elect new
Board.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the legal voters
of the district so formed by the foregoing section
shall have the power to elect a new Board of Trus-
tees for said school district.

In force.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
