Sec. 12. And be it enacted, That nothing in this
act shall be construed to authorize said company
to exercise banking privileges, and the Legislature
reserves the right to amend, alter or repeal this
act at pleasure.

CHAPTER 97.

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and fifty-
One of Article three of the Local Laws, relating
to public roads in Baltimore county.
|

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section one hundred and fifty-
one of Article three of the Public Local Laws, re-
lating to Baltimore county, is hereby repealed and
the following substituted :

Sec. 2. [151.] Be it enacted, That the County
Commissioners are required to levy such sum of
money as may be necessary to pay laborers on the
public roads in said county such rate of wages as
they may deem proper, and shall take a sufficient
bond from each district road supervisor, condition-
ally, for the payment of laborers who may work
upon said roads.

. Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.
