No. 49. An act to amend an act, entitled, "an act to aid
and encourage enlistments into the Maryland Regiments in
service of the United States," passed eighteen hundred and
sixty-four, chapter fifteen and to provide for the prompt pay-
ment of the bounties therein specified ; and to repeal section
four of said act and to re-enact the same so as to make the
bounties therein specified", payable to the widows and heirs
of deceased soldiers.
No. 50. An act appropriating a sum of money for legal
services rendered by Thomas Donaldson to the State of Mary-
land.
No. 51. An act to amend section two hundred and eighty
of Article ninety-three, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled, "Testamentary Law," relating to the sale of real
estate by executory
No. 52. An act to authorize Charles Stabler, George E.
Brooke and others, to make sale of, and to grant certain
lands in Montgomery county and to invest the proceeds.
No. 53. An act entitled, "an act to ratify and confirm and
make valid the action of the County Commissioners of Somer-
set county, Worcester county and Talbot county, in borrow-
ing money and pledging the faith of the counties for its pay-
ment, for the purpose of relieving those counties from the
draft or drafts of the United States Government, under any
of the calls for men made by the President of the United
States, to make valid the bonds issued by said County Com-
missioners and authorize them to levy a tax for the payment
thereof.''
No. 54. An act to empower the Commissioiaers of Kent
county to charge an annual rent for the use of the county
wharf situated on Grays Inn creek in Kent county.
No. 55. An act to amend and re-enact section one hundred
and thirty-five, Article twenty-one of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Washington county.

the fifty-sixth Article of the Code oi Public General Laws,

ment to denote its properties and effects to the "Aged Men's
Home," of Baltimore city, and to dissolve its organization
