A. W. BRADFORD, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR,

copal Church, in the town of Salisbury, aforesaid,
and their successors, in trust for the sole use and
benefit of the said- Protestant Episcopal Church,
and itg successors forever; and whereas, the persons
described in said will, are not Trustees, but are
the Vestry of said Church ; and whereas, said
Church is called "Saint Peter's Church;" there-
fore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Vestry of said Saint
Peter's Church, in the town of Salisbury, in
Somerset county, are hereby authorized to take
and hold, in perpetual succession, the real estate
mentioned in the said will and the preamble hereof,
and the first section of the act hereby amended, and
to sell and dispose of the same, if they have need.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 31.

In force.

AN ACT to add an Article to the Code of Public
General Laws, in relation to the Publication of
Laws.

24, 1865,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the following Article be ad-
ded to the Code of Public General Laws, under
the title of '.'Publication of Laws :"

1. Every Public General Law, which is made
to take effect before the first day of June next,
after the session at which it may be passed, shall
immediately after its passage be published at the
expense of the State, daily for one week, in two
daily newspapers of the city of Baltimore, and
one newspaper in each county, having the largest
circulation, if there be a paper published in said
county.
