AN ACT to repeal section four hundred and thir-
teen of Article four of the Code of Public Local
Laws of the city of Baltimore, entitled, "Hay
and Straw," and to re-enact the same with an
amendment.

pealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That section four hundred and
thirteen of Article four of the Code of Public
Local Laws of the city of Baltimore, entitled,
"Hay and Straw," be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Fees.
|
413. The said Inspector shall be entitled to
demand and receive for each and every load of hay
and straw inspected by him of whatever weight
one cent and one-half of a cent per hundred
pounds; and for weighing hemp, cable, anchors,
dye-woods, bark, etc., two cents per hundred
pounds.

In force.
|
Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date oi its passage.

AN ACT to repeal sections one to eighty-one in-
clusive, and sections eighty-three to ninety-four
inclusive, of Article sixty-six of the Code of
Public Laws entitled, "Negroes."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That sections one to eighty-one in-
clusive, and sections eighty-three to ninety-four
inclusive, of Article sixty-six of the Code of Public
General Laws entitled, "Negroes," be and the
same is hereby repealed.
