refusal or neglect to pav on the part of the owner,
shall thereupon issue his warrant authorizing such
sale as aforesaid; provided, that the proprietors of
sucn livery stables shall set up on his premises
in some conspicuous place, a copy of the aforegoing
sections, printed in large type, and his rates of
livery.

Proviso.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 164.

 

AN ACT to itipropriate a sum of money to pay
the Claims of John Sullivan, J. E. & G. Monroe,
H. S. Shryock & Son, George M. Taylor, John
Murphy & Co., William Price, James Revell.

23, 1866.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he
is hereby directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer to pay to John Sullivan, two hundred
and six dollars, for work done in the State House;
J. E. & G. Monroe, sixty-two dollars and eight
cents, for articles furnished for the use of the State
House; H. S. Shryock & Son, three hundred and
five dollars, for desks and chairs, furnished the
Senate and House of Delegates; George M. Taylor,
one hundred and twenty-three dollars and forty-
seven cents, for articles furnished; William Price,
twelve hundred dollars in full, for the following
cases: State vs. Washington Turnpike Company,
State vs. Treason cases of Federick county and
State vs. Wm. H. Owings, tax on commission of
executors in the Orphans' Court for Baltimore city;
and James Revell, one hundred dollars, for profes-
sional services for the State vs. Robert Welsh and
others.

Comptroller to
issue warrant.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
