To take effect.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect froin the date of its passage, and that
all acts or parts of acts inconsistent with the pro-
visions of this act, be and the same are hereby re-
pealed.

 

CHAPTER 138.

Passed March
24, 1865.

AN ACT to provide for and pay expenses incurred
in furnishing the room of the President of the
Senate, and for President's chair in the Senate
Chamber.

Comptroller
to issue war-
rant.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treas-
ury, be and he is hereby ordered to issue his war-
rant to the Tresurer to pay the following accounts:
to William Holland, four hundred and fifty-six
dollars; Cushing and Bailey, one dollar and
eighty-seven cents; Courtland and Co., twenty-
seven dollars and fifty cents; McDowell, Robin-
son and Co., two hundred and twenty-three dollars
and fifty-one cents; Shryock and Son, six hundred
and sixty-one dollars and ninety-five cents; and
William Mann, twenty-five dollars in full for
above bills.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.
