of the provisions of this Article, in regard to the
selection of Jurors in the city of Baltimore, shall
be knowingly prevented or interfered with, or with
intent to interfere with or prevent the same, or
permit or allow the same to be interfered with or
prevented, shall be guilty of felony, and upon con-
viction thereof shall be sentenced to be confined in
the Penitentiary for a term of not less than one
nor more than three years.

SEC. 3, Be it enacted, That nothing in the last
preceding section, shall be held to affect the liabili-
ty of any person or persons for any forfeiture im-
posed by section six hundred and sixteen of this
Article.

fect immediately from and after its passage.

AN ACT to authorize the trustees of the Garrison
Forest Academy in Baltimore county, to transfer
a lot of land to the trustees of the Methodist
Episcopal Church in said county.

SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Nicholas Carroll and Charles
G. Lyon, trustees of the Garrison Forest Academy
in Baltimore county, be and they are hereby author-
ized to transfer a lot of land belonging to said
Academy, to Dr. John L. Gibbons, Dr. John Fish-
er, Thomas Flint, William Councilman and George
H. Elder, trustees of the Methodist Episcopal
Church in said county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
