CHAP. 27.
Made valid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the subscriptions
to the stock of said company taken upon a sheet or
sheets of paper, shall be as valid, as if the same
had been taken in a book, as required by the char-
ter of said company.

Notice of
meeting.
|
SEC. 3. And fie it enacted, That the notice given
by said company for a meeting of the stockholders
thereof, for the purpose of organizing the same,
shall be as valid, as if ten days notice of said meet-
ing had been given, as required by said charter.
|

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the day of its passage.

AN ACT to amend the fourth Article of the Code
of Public Local Laws relating to the city of
Baltimore, by repealing the fiftieth section of
said article relating to the salary of the overseer
of the Alms House of Baltimore city.
|
Amended.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the fourth Article of the Code of
Public Local Laws relating to the city of Baltimore,
be and the same is hereby amended, by repealing
the fiftieth section of said Article, relating to the
salary of the overseer of the Alms House of Balti-
more city.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.
