S TITLES OF THE LAWS.

47. An act further to define the duties of the State Libra-
rian.

48. An act to make valid the acts of William Wix, as dep-
uty of Esma Lowe, constable, of Caroline county.

49. An act to make valid the qualification of John Merry-
man, as First Lieutenant of the Baltimore County Horse
Guards.

50. An act appropriating a sum of money for the payment
of the claims of James E. Tate, John H. Emerson and A. G.
Gullett.

51. An act to amend the fourth Article of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, by repealing the six hundred and third sec-
tion thereof, relating to the mode of drawing Jurors in, and
for the city of Baltimore, and substituting therefor the follow-
ing sections providing for the more effectual prevention and
punishment of fraud in such drawings.

52. An act to authorize the trustees of the Garrison Forest
Academy in Baltimore county, to transfer a lot of land to the
trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church, in said county.

53. An act to amend the eighty-eighth Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, by repealing the forty-sixth and for-
ty-sixth and forty -seventh Sections thereof, and substituting
the following therefor, in relation to Sheriffs.

54. An act to make valid the last will and testament of a
certain John Hanna, late of the State of Pennsylvania, de-
ceased.

55. An act to amend Article twenty of the Code of Public
Local Laws, by repealing the ninety-first section thereof, re-
lating to Jurors in Talbot county, and substituting a new
section therefor.

56. An act to amend the thirty-eighth Article of the Code
of General Law, by repealing the second section thereof, and
substituting the following therefor in relation to fees of office.

57. An act to add new sections to the Local Laws of Wor-
cester county under the head of Oysters.

58. An act to legalize and make valid a deed from William
R. Steele, executor of Joseph Steele, late of Carroll county,
desceased, to John T. Steele.

59. An act to provide for the compensation of William A.
Glanville, for certain services performed by him in promul-
gating a "Proclamation of the Governor."
