the inspection and weighing of hay, and to insert in lieu
thereof the following sections.

36. An act to amend Article eight of the Code of Public
Local Laws, relative to the powers granted by law to the
president and commissioners of the village of Port Deposit,
by adding thereto the following section.

37. An act to authorize and empower Francis Mattingly
to erect gates upon a road passing near his house, to the
Catholic Church, near Mount Savage.

38. An act appropriating a sum of money for the payment
of Outerbridge Horsey, for services rendered, as Commission-
er to the State of Virginia.

39. An act appropriating a sum of money to pay Samuel
J. Pentz, (owner of the steamer Pioneer,) William H. Ham-
ilton, John Bird, J. C. Bush, James Cook, William Lynch,
John Bradshaw, E. S. Thomas and Edwin Street.

40. An act authorising and empowering the County Com-
missioners of Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties to
levy a sum of money to pay for the erection of a Bridge across
the Patuxent at Queen Anne.

41. An act to amend the fourth Ar ticle! of the Code of
Public Local Laws by adding thereto the following sections,
relating to the purchase and government of Druid Hill and
Patterson Parks, belonging to the city of Baltimore.

42. A further additional supplement to an Act entilted, an
Act to establish and Incrporate a Medical and Chirurgical
Faculty or Society in the State of Maryland.

43. An act to enable A. Lingan Jarrett, Comptroller of
Maryland, to enter into bond and qualify.

44. An act to amend the ninety-third Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, by adding thereto a section limiting
the eifect of the exception of actions "for anything done to
the person" made in the tenth section of said Article.

45. An act to add the following sections to Article sixth of
the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Election Districts
in Caroline county.

46. An act to amend the fourth Article of the Code of Pub-
lic Laws, relating to the city of Baltimore, by authorizing
the Board of Police of said city, to cause the closing the bar-
rooms, bars, drinking-houses and liquor-shops in said city,
and the sale or furnishing of liquor thereat, when necessary
for the preservation of the public peace.
