Prof. Mason A. Hawkins

Prof. Mason A. Hawkins, who, since 1909
has faithfully filled the position as principal
of the Douglass High School. He was given a
testimonial at the High School building by a
group of more than over three hundred patrons,
including many of the school officials. On thin
occasion the competency of the man, and the
efficiency of his work were discussed.

Prof. Francis M. Wood

Baltimore is glad to have in its official staff
of the Educational System, Prof. Francis M.
Wood.

Through his personality and efficient work
he has gained the respect of the entire popu-
lation of Baltimore city. He is a fairminded,
sympathetic, congenial co-operative citizen.
Since his connection with the Baltimore School
System he has made many improvements, and
there has never has been a teacher or principal
who was not glad to see him. Also he is al-
ways open to suggestion, a sign of true leader-
ship.

Miss Dorothy Mae Coleman

Miss Dorothy Mae Coleman, daughter of Mr.
Robert W. Coleman who due to her father's
handicap has rendered invaluable service to
him in his work and has proved an indispen-
sable element in the publication of this direc-
tory by taking complete charge of all phases
except collecting the material which part is
done by Mr. Coleman.

Miss Coleman is an alumnus of the Balti-
more High and Training Schools and a present
member of the School system.
