E. B. TAYLOR
Mr. Taylor, despite the war, has just concluded the biggest year,
as far as volume of business is concerned, in the history of his cor-
poration. In August he secured what is probably the biggest contract
ever given a colored man. It was to feed the entire Students Army
Training Corps of Baltimore, and he simultaneously served three times
a day at the Johns Hopkins University, Johns Hopkins Medical School,
College of Physicians and Surgeons, Baltimore Dental College, Univer-
sity of Maryland, Lehmann Hall and Naval Reserves Armory. The
contract was to continue for nine months, but the ending of the war
cut it down to two months. He continued his war work, being prom-
inent in nearly every branch of citizen activity. Since our last issue
he has given up his bachelorhood by marrying Miss Esther A, Shackel-
ford of Richmond. Kentucky.
He was recentiy elected president of the Morgan Building and
Loan Association, which has begun to do an excellent business.
