ME. ALFRED PITTS.

Mr. Alfred Pitts, a native of Maryland, is a very popular and in-
fluential citizen. For a number of years Mr. Pitts conducted the poul-
try business in one of the larger markets in Baltimore. He is inter-
ested in a number of secret organizations, one of which is the G. U. O.
of Nazarite. This society Mr. Pitts has been the Grand Secretary of
Records and he has held that position with dignity and honor. He is
President and General Manager of the Southern Life Insurance Com-
pany of this city. He is aiso interested in the real estate and life insur-
ance business. His wife, formerly Miss Lucile Butler of this city, is
a very charming and attractive lady.

Mr. Pitts ia an active worker and member of the First Baptist
Church.
