The THIRD WARD to comprise all that part of the city contained
within the following bounds:—Beginning on the centre line of East Bal-
timore and Canal streets, thence northwardly on the centre line of
Canal street to Pitt street; thence on the centre line of said street west-
wardly to Aisquith street; thence northwardly on the said line to the
centre line of the Harford turnpike road; thence eastwardly on said line
to the north line of the city; and thence on the north and east boundary
line to the centre line of the Philadelphia road; and thence westwardly
on said road and East Baltimore street to the place of beginning.
The FOURTH WARD to comprise all that part of the city contain-
ed within the following bounds:—Beginning on the centre lines of Pitt
street and Jones's Falls; and thence on the centre line of Pitt street
eastwardly to the centre line of Canal street; and thence on said line
southwardly to the water of the city dock; and thence on said water
westwardly to the centre line of Jones's Falls; and thence northwardly
on said line to the place of beginning.
The FIFTH WARD to comprise all that part of the city contained
within the following bounds:—Beginning on the centre line of Pitt street
and Jones's Falls; and thence northwardly on said line to the centre line
of Hillen street; and thence eastwardly on said line to the centre line of
Monument street; and thence eastwardly on said line to Aisquith street;
and thence southwardly on said line to the centreline of Pitt street; and
thence westwardly on said line to the place of beginning.
The SIXTH WARD to comprise all that part of the city contained
within the following bounds:—Beginning at the intersection of Hillen
st and Jones's Falls; and thence on Jones's Falls northwardly to the lim-
its of the city; and thence on said line eastwardly to the Harford road: and
thence on said line south to centre of line of Aisquith street; and thence
on said line to the centre line of Monument street; find thence on said
line westwardly to the centre line of Hillen street; and thence westward-
ly to the place of beginning.
The SEVENTH WARD to comprise all that part of the city con-
tained within the following hounds:—Beginning at the Belvidere bridge
over Jones's Falls, thence alone; the centre of Jones's Falls to the mouth
thereof at the north side of the basin; thence westwardly along the north
side of the basin to Gay street; thence alone Gay street to East Balti-
more street; thence westwardly on said street to North street; thence
northwardly along said street to the place of beginning.
The EIGHTH WARD to comprise all that part of the city which is
contained within the following bounds:—Beginning at the Belvidere
bridge over Jones's Falls; thence southwardly along the centre of North
street to Gay street; thence southwardly on the centre line of said
street to the water; thence westwardly running and binding on the water
until the same intersects the south intersection of Bowly's wharf and
Pratt street; thence west along the centre of Pratt street to Hanover
street; thence north along Hanover street to Baltimore street; thence
west along Baltimore to Liberty street; thence north along Liberty
street to Saratoga street; thence west to the centre of College alley:
thence along the centre of said alley to the centre line of Mulberry
street; thence along Mulberry street eastvvardly to Cathedral street; and
thence northwardly along Cathedral street to the city limits: thence
castwardly to Jones's Falls; thence along Jones's Falls to the place of
beginning.
The NINTH WARD to comprise all that part of the city contained
within the following bounds:—Beginning at the intersection of Hanover
