PLAN OF THE WARDS.
ORDINANCES. No. 18.
in Ordinance for the division of the City of Baltimore into fourteen
Wards.
Be it enacted and ordained by the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore, That from and after the passage of this Ordinance, the City
Baltimore shall be divided into fourteen Wards, bounded and des-
cribed as follows, that is to say:
The FIRST WARD to comprise all that part of the city contained
within the following bounds:—Beginning on the centre lines of Market
street, Fell's Point, with the water of the harbor; and thence along the
e of said street to the centre line of Fleet street; and thence west-
ardly on said line to the centre line of Bond street; thence on said
reet northwardly to the centre line of East Baltimore street; and thence
eastwardly with said line and the Philadelphia road to the east line of
the city; and thence with said line southwardly to the water of the har-
bor; and thence with said water to the place of beginning.
The SECOND WARD to comprise all that part of the city contained
within the following bounds-Beginning on the centre line of Market
feet, Fell's Point, and the water of the harbor; and thence northward-
ly binding on said line to the centre line of Fleet street; and thence west-
wardly with said line to the centre line of Bond street; and thence
northwardly with said line to the centre line of East Baltimore street;
and thence westwardly on said line to the centre line of Canal street;
and thence southwardly on said line to the city dock; and thence with
the line of said water to the place of beginning.
