CHAPTER 695.
AN ACT to provide for the appointment of an additional Jus-
tice of the Peace for the Seventh Election District in Mont-
gomery county, Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Governor be and he is hereby authorized, em-
powered and directed to appoint an additional Justice of the
Peace for the Seventh Election District for Montgomery coun-
ty, in the State of Maryland.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted further, That this Act shall take ef-
fect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 655.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County to appoint an additional constable
for the Seventh Election District, one additional constable
for the Fourth Election District, and one additional consta-
ble for the Thirteenth Election District of Montgomery Coun-
ty, who shall patrol the county roads mounted on motor cycle
or bicycle, as the County Commissioners may direct, and to
authorize and empower said County Commissioners to levy
for and pay to said constable a sum of money not exceeding
two thousand dollars each year, said sum of two thousand
dollars to be divided or paid to said constable in the amount
and manner in the discretion of said County Commissioners.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Montgomery County
are hereby authorized and empowered to appoint one additional
constable each for the 4th, 7th and 13th Election Districts in
said county.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That said constable to be ap-
pointed under the preceding section shall daily patrol the
county roads under the guidance, supervision and direction of
said County Commissioners; said constable shall be mounted
upon bibycle or motor cycle, as said Commissioners shall di-
rect, and the special duty of the constable appointed under the
provisions of this Act are to police the public thoroughfares
that may be assigned them from time to time by the Commis-
sion and at such time and places.
SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That said constable shall have
all the authority and power as any other constable under the
laws of this State.
