year, beginning with and including the year 1910, which they
are to provide unto the Commissioners of Cambridge, and the
Commissioners of Cambridge are authorized and required to
pay on October 1st, in each and every year, beginning with
and including the year 1910, the sum of four hundred dollars
unto the treasurer of Rescue Fire Company of Cambridge,
Maryland; the said money shall be applied and used for the
purpose aforesaid.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 167.
AN ACT to encourage the destruction of crows in Dorchester
county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land. That any person killing any crow within the limits of
Dorchester county shall be entitled to receive a bounty of five
(5) cents for each and every crow so killed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That, to obtain said bounty, it
shall be necessary for the person killing said crow to produce
the head of the same before some justice of the peace for Dor-
chester county, and at the same time make oath that the said
crow was killed within the limits of said county, and there-
upon the said justice shall give a certificate of the production
of the said head before him and the taking of said oath; and
it shall be the duty of the said justice to destroy the said head
so as to prevent a second allowance upon the same.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That upon the production of the
said justice's certificate before the County Commissioners, they
are authorized and directed to levy upon the assessable prop-
erty of the county a sum sufficient for such bounties for the
use of the person producing the same, and shall pay the same
accordingly.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
