on dogs and gyps, at the time of their making return of said
license fees to said County Commissioners.

SEC. 58D. The said County Commissioners, after deducting
the cost of the metal tags herein provided for and paying the
constable the fees herein prescribed, shall deposit the balance
of the moneys derived from the license herein imposed in the
name of the said County Commissioners and subject to their
order in some safe banking institution, which will pay interest
on said deposit, which said fund shall be held and used as a
sinking fund for the payment of the bonded indebtedness of
said Charles county. Whenever said sinking fund, so created,
shall amount to the sum of five thousand dollars, the said
County Commissioners are hereby empowered and directed to
pay and cancel a like amount of the said Charles county bonded
indebtedness which may at that time be payable.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and the
same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 231.

AN ACT to repeal Section (improperly designated as) Sec-
tion 160 of Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Charles County," and sub-title "Roads and Bridges," as
enacted by Chapter 123 of the Acts of 1878, and Chapter 344
of the Acts of 1880; and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments so as to read as follows; said section as re-enacted to
be designated as Section 165 and to follow immediately
after Section 164.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary
land. That Section 160 (improperly designated as such) of
Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Charles
County," sub-title "Roads and Bridges," as the same was en-
acted by Chapter 123 of the Acts of 1878 and Chapter 344 of
the Acts of 1880, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted so as to read as follows, said Section as re-enacted to
be designated Section 165 and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 164 of said Article 9:

SEC. 165. The road leading from the public road from
Newport to Bndd's Creek, in Charles County, through the lands
