SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 62.

AN ACT to add eleven additional sections to Article 8 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil Coun-
ty," sub-title "Roads," to follow Section 118 of said Article,
and to be designated as Sections 118A, 118B, 118c, 118D, 118E,
118F, 118G, 118H, 118i, 118j and 118K, and to repeal all Acts
or parts of Acts of said Article, and all other Acts so far as
the same may be inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That eleven additional sections be added to Article 8 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil Coun-
ty," sub-title "Roads," to follow Section 118 thereof, and to
be designated as Sections 118A, 118B, 118c, 118D, 118E, 118F,
118G, 118H, 118i, 118j and 118K, of said Article, and to repeal
all Acts or parts of Acts of said Article, and all other Acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, saving and except-
ing Chapter 141 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, Session of 1908, and the amendments thereto, and Chap-
ter 225 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, Ses-
sion of 1904, and the amendments thereto.

SEC. 118A. The County Commissioners of Cecil County are
authorized and empowered to control and regulate the public
roads and bridges in said county, subject to the provisions of
this Act.

SEC. 118B. The County Commissioners of Cecil County
shall at the time of making their annual levy, levy upon all the
taxable property of said county a tax of not less than twenty
cents on the one hundred dollars, which shall be used for the
repair and reconstruction of public roads and bridges in said
county, which taxes shall be levied and collected as are other
county taxes. The said County Commissioners may appro-
priate or levy such other sum or sums of money as they may
deem requisite for building of new bridges and opening new
roads, and for repairing and reconstructing public roads and
bridges in said county. All of the taxes levied and collected
under the provisions of this section shall be disbursed by the
said County Commissioners upon the roads and bridges in
