and that Section 1 of Article 63 of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title "Mechanic's Liens," as amended by
the Acts of 1902, Chapter 432, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows:

1. Every building erected and every building repaired,
rebuilt or improved to the extent of one-fourth its value in
Baltimore City and in any of the counties shall be subject to
a lien for the payment of all debts contracted for, work done
for, or about the same and in the counties. Every such build-
ing shall also be subject to a lien for the payment of all debts
contracted for, materials furnished for or about the same.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved April 1, 1910.

CHAPTER 54.

AN ACT to repeal Section 125B and Section 125c and Section
166, Section 167 and Section 168 of Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County,"
relating to electric light, power companies and gas com-
panies.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 125B and Section 125c and Section 166,
Section 167 and Section 168 of Article 3 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County," be and

the same are hereby repealed.
Approved April 1, 1910.

CHAPTER 26.

AN ACT to add three additional sections to Article 3 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Balti-
more County," to follow Section 384, and to be designated
as 384A, 384p, and 384c, respectively, providing for a clerk to
the State's Attorney for said county, defining his duties and
imposing a penalty for violation thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the three following sections be and they are hereby
added to Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, entitled "Baltimore County," to follow Section 384 and
to be designated as 384A. 384B and 384c, respectively, and to
read as follows:
