of the Senate, five female Notaries Public for Anne Arundel
County, in addition to the number now authorized by law.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 86.
AN ACT to repeal Sections two hundred and four, two
hundred and five, two hundred and six, two hundred
and seven, two hundred and eight, two hundred and nine,
two hundred and ten, two hundred and eleven, two hundred
and twelve, and two hundred and thirteen, of Article 2 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County,"
subtitle "Sheep," as enacted by Chapter five hundred and
seventeen of the Acts of eighteen hundred and eighty-eight,
and to re-enact Sections two hundred and four, two hundred
and five, two hundred and six, two hundred and seven, two
hundred and eight, two hundred and nine, two hundred and
ten, two hundred and eleven and two hundred and twelve,
with amendments so as to read as follows: Providing for
the taxation of dogs in Anne Arundel County and creating
a fund out of which owners of domestic fowls and animals
killed or injured by dogs may be reimbursed for the loss of
same, and providing for the disposition of such fund after
the payment of such injuries.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections two hundred and four, two hundred and
five, two hundred and six, two hundred and seven, two hundred
and eight, two hundred and nine, two hundred and ten, two
hundred and eleven, two hundred and twelve and two hundred
and thirteen, of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Anne Arundel County," subtitle "Sheep," be and the
same are hereby repealed, and that Sections two hundred and
four, two hundred and five, two hundred and six, two hundred
and seven, two hundred and eight, two hundred and nine, two
hundred and ten, two hundred and eleven, two hundred and
twelve, be and the same are hereby re-enacted so as to read as
follows:
SEC. 204. All owners of dogs upwards of six months old
in Anne Arundel County shall pay to the county an annual tax
of one dollar for each male dog, and two dollars for each female
dog; and any dog kept or straying about the premises of
