ping game for the purpose other than for sale shall refuse to
accept any game package or packages or box or boxes contain-
ing game, unless contents of same is plainly marked thereon,
and the name of the shipper must be plainly marked thereon;
provided that nothing in this section shall render it unlawful
to sell squirrels or rabbits in season for food consumption in
Allegany County only. Any person or persons, or corporation
or corporations, offending against any of the provisions of this
section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon
conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of ten dol
lars for each bird or animal so shipped, and one hundred dol-
lars for each deer so shipped, and upon failure to pay the same
shall be committed to the Allegany County Jail for a period of
sixty days for each offense. Any deputy game warden, con-
stable or other person who shall procure the conviction of any
person or corporation for violating any of the provisions of
this section shall receive half of the fine collected after the pay-
ment of costs, and the remaining half shall be paid over to the
State Treasurer of Maryland to the account of the State Game
Protective Fund, to be used by the State Game Warden as may
be provided by law.

Sec. 16s. That all laws or parts of laws, both of the Code
of Public General Laws and of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, for the protection of ducks, geese, swan or brant,
or any wild water fowl in the State of Maryland, shall not
hereafter be in force or have effect in Allegany County.

Sec. 16c. That it shall be unlawful for any person to hunt,
pursue or kill any of the birds or animals named in Section 12,
13, 14 and 14A of this Act, or any insectivorous birds (except-
ing English sparrows), in Allegany Bounty on Sunday, or on
election days, and it shall be prima facie evidence of a viola-
tion of this Act if any person is found in the fields or woods
with a gun on Sunday or on election days, or to hunt or kill
in any trap or destroy any of the birds named in Sections 12,
13 and 14A of this Act, or by shooting from a blind or baited
place, or killing a deer at a deer lick, or shooting at or killing
any partridge or quail while it is sitting or resting on the
ground; provided, however, that it shall not be unlawful to
hunt any of the birds or animals referred to in Sections 12, 13
and 14 of this Act while there is a tracking snow on the ground
during any of the periods when it may otherwise be lawful to
shoot said birds or animals, nor shall it be unlawful for any
person to hunt upon the lands of any person in Allegany
County without permission first had and obtained in writing
of the landowners, tenant or person in possession.
