520 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

of November following, both exclusive, in each and every year
in Allegany County.

Sec. 13. No person shall shoot, or in any manner catch or
kill, or sell, or have in his possession, living or dead, any wood-
cock between the thirty-first day of July and the tenth day of
November following, both exclusive, or between the thirty-first
day of December and the first day of July following, both ex-
clusive, in each and every year in Allegany County.

Sec. 14. No person shall shoot, or in any manner catch or
kill, or sell, or have in his or her possession, living or dead,
any squirrel between the thirty-first day of December and the
fifteenth day of September following, both exclusive, in each
and every year, in Allegany County.

Sec. 14A. No person shall shoot, or in any manner catch or
kill or sell or have in his or her possession, living or dead, at
any time in Allegany County any dove or doves; provided, that
nothing in this Act shall be so construed as to prevent any per-
son or corporation from having in his, her or its possession at
any time live game, birds or animals for the purpose of propa-
gation, provided said birds or animals are originally obtained
outside of the State of Maryland.

Sec. 16. That any person found violating the provisions of
Sections 12, 13, 14 and 14A of this Act shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof before a Justice
of the Peace shall be fined not less than fifty nor more than
one hundred dollars for each and every violation. And in
event of the non-payment of the fine, the person so convicted
shall stand committed to the County Jail until such fine and
costs are paid, but such imprisonment shall not exceed sixty
days for each offense. Any person securing the conviction of
any person or persons for violating the provisions of this Act
shall receive one-half of the fine collected, after the payment of
costs and the remaining one-half shall be paid over to the State
Treasurer of Maryland to the account of the Game Protective
Funds, to be used by the State Game Warden as may be pro-
vided by laws.

Sec. 16A. It shall not be lawful to sell or attempt to sell at
any season of the year in Allegany County wild turkeys, par-
tridges or quail, doves, woodcocks, English pheasants, pheas-
ants or ruffled grouse or deer, nor shall it be lawful for anyone
to ship for the purpose of selling elsewhere any of the above-
named game, or rabbits or squirrels, and it shall be unlawful
for an express or transportation company to ship or accept for
shipment any of the above-mentioned game for the purpose of
