into its possession in the course of its dealings and business;
and the same to sell, grant, mortgage, lease, improve and dis-
pose of at its pleasure; and to execute, acknowledge and de-
liver all deeds and instruments of writing concerning the same.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That ten (10) days' notice shall
be given by publication in one or more newspapers published
in Baltimore city of the time and place of all annual or special
meetings of stockholders.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the directors shall have
power to declare such dividends or profits of the said corpora-
tion as they may deem proper; provided, that no dividend shall
be declared when the capital stock would be impaired thereby.
SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 745.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests and devises
contained in the last wills and testaments of certain persons
late of the State of Maryland, deceased, and also to certain
gifts, grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various persons
in this State to and for the use and benefit of sundry min-
isterial persons, religions denominations, corporations or
sects and to certain charitable institutions.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same are hereby declared, given and
granted to the following gifts, bequests, devise, grants, sales,
leases and deeds, to and for the use and benefit of certain min-
isterial persons, religious corporations, denominations or sects
and to certain charitable institutions as herein set forth: (1)
To the bequest to the First English Evangelical Luthern
Church of Baltimore City, Maryland, contained in the last will
and testament of Warren H. Sadler, recorded in the office of
the Register of Wills for Baltimore City in Wills, Liber B. E.
S. No. 104, folio 80, etc., which bequest is as follows: "To pay
for a period of twenty years to the First English Evangelical
Lutheran Church of Baltimore City, Maryland, annually the
sum twenty-five dollars, to be used in furnishing the King's
Daughters, or other committee from said church with money
for the purchase of Thanksgiving Dinners for such needy per-
sons they may deem worthy."
2. To the deed and conveyance from Albert Maynard and
Emma D. Maynard, his wife, unto the Grace Reformed Church
