1230 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

the Social intercourse of its members, their participation in
field and water sports and their co-operation and preserving of
fish, game, birds and animals in Anne Arundel county, Mary-
land. The principal office of said corporation shall be at Leon,
in Anne Arundel county, State of Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said corporation, by its cor-
porate name, may sue and be sued, answer and defend, in any
Court of Law or Equity, and may ordain and establish by-laws,
rules and regulations as may appear necessary or proper for
conducting its concerns, and the same may change, alter and
amend as shall appear proper, and may have, use and at pleas-
ure change a common seal; and generally may do any act or
thing necessary or proper to carry into effect the provisions of
this Act and promote the designs of the corporation.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That said corporation shall have
the power to purchase, lease and acquire and hold real and per-
sonal property in Anne Arundel county, such property to be
used and applied by it for the use of said corporation consis-
tent with the provisions of this Act, and to sell and dispose of
the same and perform all Acts consistent with this Act.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the said club shall have the
right to admit non-residents of the State of Maryland as mem-
bers of said club who when admitted shall have and enjoy all
the rights and privileges as to gunning, hunting and fishing in
the County of Anne Arundel, as residents of said county.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 328.

AN ACT to incorporate the St. Helena Island Rod and Gun
Club of Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Frederick J. Mersheimer, Charles E. Myer, Daniel
J. Murphy, Joseph L. Walton and James A. Walton, and such
other persons as may hereafter be associated with them and
their successors, be and they are hereby constituted a body
corporate by the name of the St Helena Island Rod and Gun
Club of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, the purposes of
whose existence are the social intercourse of its members, their
participation in field and water sports and their co-operation
and preserving of fish, game, birds and animals in Anne Arun-
del county, Maryland. The principal office of said corporation
