1202 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That any person found trespass-
ing upon the lands or marshes of another in said county with
the intention of catching, trapping or shooting any muskrats,
otters or minks, without the permission of the owner of said
lands or marshes, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and on conviction thereof before any justice of the peace for
said county shall be fined not less than ten dollars, nor more
than twenty dollars, or be imprisoned in the county jail not ex-
ceeding thirty days, or until the payment of said fine and costs,
one-half of said fine to be paid to the County Commissioners
for the use of the public schools of the county, and the other
half to the informer;

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 350.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections i79,
180, 181, 182, 183, 188, 199 and 200 of Article 24 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Worcester County,"
subtitle "Oysters and Fish."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 179, 180, 181, 182, 183, 188, 199 and 200 of
Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Worcester County," subtitle "Oysters and Fish," are hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as fol-
lows:

179. No person other than actual residents of the State shall
catch clams or terrapins in the waters of the Sinepuxent Bay
or its tributaries within the limits of said county; and all per-
sons violating any of the provisions of this section, upon indict-
ment and conviction thereof, shall forfeit the boats and all in-
struments used in said violation, be fined not less than ten
dollars, nor more than fifty dollars, for each offense, with costs,
and be imprisoned until the same are paid; provided, that said
imprisonment shall in no c:ase continue more than thirty days.

180. No person other than an actual bona fide resident of
Worcester County, or unless he shall be a taxpayer upon prop-
erty standing in his own name within said county of the as-
sessed value of one thousand dollars or more, or unless he shall
first take out a license as hereinafter provided, shall haul for
or catch fish with any seine, or set net of any description, in
the waters of Sinepuxent Bay or its tributaries within said
county; and no person shall fish in the waters of Sinepuxent
