ing for the Issuance of Same, and Providing for Applying the
Receipts Therefrom to the Building and Support of the Pub-
lic Schools of Said County," and to re-enact said sections
with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 1 and 2 of Chapter 630 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1908, entitled "An Act to
Require Persons Engaged in the Business of Catching Crabs in
Somerset County to Take Out Licenses, and Providing for the
Issuance of Same, and Providing for Applying the Receipts
Therefrom to the Building and Support of the Public Schools
of Said County," be and the same are hereby repealed and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:
1. That any resident of Somerset County desiring to catch
crabs for sale in any of the waters of said county shall first
obtain by application to the clerk of the Circuit Court for said
county, a separate license for every person to be employed in
said business, and such license shall have effect until the first
day of May next ensuing the date of the issuance of the same,
provided that boys under ten years of age shall not be required
to license.
2. That each and every license issued in conformity with the
provisions of Section 1 of this Act shall state the name, color
and residence of the person to whom the license is to be
granted, the number thereof, and every applicant for such
license shall pay to the clerk of the Circuit Court for Somerset
County, when such license may be granted, and before the issu-
ing and delivery of same the sum of one dollar and fifty cents
for each license, and the said clerk shall also receive from
each applicant for license the sum of twenty-five cents as a
fee for issuing the same, including the cost of administering
the oath, if administered by said clerk. Nine-tenths of the
money received for such licenses shall be paid to the treasurer
of the County Commissioners of Somerset County, to be applied
by him to the building and support of the public schools in
said county in the following manner, that is to say: All sums
received from licenses issued to residents of Crisfield, Asbury
and Lawson's Election Districts, in said county, shall be ap-
plied toward the payment of certain bonds issued, or to be is-
sued for the purpose of building a new high school building at
Crisfield, under the Act of 1910 of the General Assembly of
Maryland, and all sums so received from licenses issued to
residents of Deals Island, Tangier and Dames Quarter Dis-
tricts, in said county, shall be applied toward repairing the
high school, or toward building a new high school at or near
Deals Island, in said county, and all sums received from resi-
