SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 3.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 187
of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Queen Anne's County," subtitle "Justices of the Peace
and Constables."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 187 of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Queen Anne's County," subtitle "Jus-
tices of the Peace and Constables," be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as fol-
lows :

SEC. 187. Whenever a Justice of the Peace of said county
shall issue a summons for a defendant residing in a different
election district from that in which the said Justice of the
Peace issuing the summons resides, he shall, upon the written
demand of said defendant or his duly constituted attorney,
filed with said Justice of the Peace within three days after the
service of the summons, transmit the papers in said cause to
some Justice of the Peace in the election district where the
defendant resides, who shall try the same.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved March 1, 1910.

CHAPTER 35.

AN ACT to add eleven additional sections to Article 18 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Queen
Anne's County," subtitle "Roads," to follow Section 230 of
said Article 18, and to be known as Sections 230A, 230B, 230c,
230D, 230E, 230F, 230G, 230H, 230i, 230j and 230K, and to re-
peal all other laws or parts or sections of all other laws so
far as the same may conflict or may be inconsistent with the
provsons of this Act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That eleven additional sections be and the same are here-
by added to Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, entitled "Queen Anne's County," subtitle "Roads,"
