lected in the same manner as the other taxes now authorized to
be levied, assessed and collected by the Town Commissioners
of Centreville. The proceeds of said special tax shall be kept
separate from the other funds of said corporation and shall be
used for the payment of the interest on said bonds and the pay-
ment of said bonds, and for no other purpose whatsoever. In
determining the amount of the special tax hereby authorized
to be levied and collected the Town Commissioners of Centre-
ville shall make allowance for the amount applicable to the
payment of said interest and said bonds from the ''Sewer Rent
Funds,' but no allowance shall be made for any amount not
actually in bank or in hand at the time of said levy from
said "Sewer Rent Funds."

SEC. 10. And- be it enacted, That a special election shall be
held in the town of Centreville on such day as shall be deter-
mined by the Town Commissioners of Centreville; provided,
said special election be held not later than six months from
the time this Act shall take effect. At said special election
a vote shall be taken by the legal and qualified voters of said
town, as now determined, whether or not the bond issue herein
provided for shall be made, which said special election shall be
held under the provisions of law governing elections in said
town; provided, however, that notice of said special election
be printed in two successive editions or issues of the two
uewspapers now published in said town, the first edition or
issue of each paper containing said notice of said special
election to issue or be published at least twenty days prior
to the date of said election. The printed notice shall state
clearly the object and purpose of said special election, and
for the purpose of taking the vote at said election there shall
be printed on the ballot to be used at said election in one
column the words, "For the Bond Issue," and in another col-
umn the words, "Against the Bond Issue," and if a majority
of the legally qualified voters shall vote in favor of said bond
issue, the Town Commissioners of Centreville shall issue said
bonds and provide for the installation of said sewerage sys-
tem, but if a majority of the legally qualified voters of the
said town shall vote against the issue of said bonds, then this
Act shall be null and void. The judge of said election shall
at the close of the polls on said election day count up the
votes and make a certificate of the same in the usual form
and forward said certificate to the treasurer of the said cor-
poration, who shall at once record said certificate, together-
with a copy of the notice of said election, in the minute record
book of said corporation.
