board shall be elected by the voters of said county as herein
provided. All appointments shall be made by the Governor,
with the consent of the Senate, when in session, and without
such consent when not in session, but no two members of said
board shall be selected from same road district. Any member
of said board may be removed by the Governor upon written
charges, after a hearing; each of said Road Directors, whether
appointed or elected, as hereinafter provided, shall devote his
whole time to his duties as a Road Director, and give his per-
sonal supervision daily, during the entire working hours to the
management and direction of the working forces of his road
district: and shall receive a salary of $840 per annum, payable
monthly, and shall not receive any other remuneration, direct-
ly or indirectly, by reason of his position. At the general elec-
tion to be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in
November, A. D. 1913, and every four years thereafter, the
legally qualified voters of Prince George's county shall elect
four Road Directors for said county, who must be legal resi-
dents of Prince George's county, and at said election in 1913,
and every four years thereafter, the Board of Election Super-
visors for Prince George's County shall cause the names of
the duly nominated candidates for Road Directors to be print-
ed on the official ballot so as to give each legally qualified
voter of Prince George's county full opportunity to vote for
four candidates for road directors at said elections. Which
four (4) Road Direcotrs shall constitute the Board of Road
Directors, and their terms of office shall begin at the expira-
tion of the terms of office of their predecessors, and shall con-
tinue for four years, and untirtheir successors may be elected
and qualified, when their office and all records, funds and
property under their control shall be turned over to their
successors.

SEC. 281. Prince George's county, for the purposes of this
Act, is hereby divided into four (4) road districts, to be
known as Road Districts Nos. One (1), Two (2), Three (3)
and Four (4). Road No. 1 shall be composed of Election Dis-
tricts Laurel, Vansville; Hyattsville, Chillum, Bladensburg
and that part of Bowie District north and west of the Wash-
ington Branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad.

Road District No. 2—Election Districts Kent, Queen Anne
Marlboro, and that part of Bowie Election District south and
«ast. of the Washington Branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad.

Road District No. 3—Election Districts Spaldings, Oxen
Hill, Surratts and Mellwood.

Road District No. 4—Election Districts Piscataway, Bran-
dywine, Nottingham and Aquasco, as the said election districts
