1022 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

the passage of this Act it shall not be lawful for the Liquor
License Commissioners of Prince George's county to issue any
license for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors in that
portion of said county within one mile in all directions in said
county of the point where the centre line of the right of way
of the Chesapeake Beach Railroad Company crosses the Dis-
trict of Columbia line.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted., That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 168.

AN ACT to repeal Section 91 of Article 17 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, title "Prince George's County," sub-title
"County Commissioners," relating to the annual salary of
the Clerk to the County Commissioners, as repealed and re-
enacted by the Act of 1884, Chapter 475, and re-enact the
same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly o/ Mary-
land, That Section 91 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Prince George's County," sub-title "County Com-
missioners," relating to the annual salary of the Clerk to the
County Commissioners, as repealed and re-enacted by the Act
of 1884, Chapter 475, be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows:

SEC. 91. The Clerk to the County Commissioners of said
county shall be entitled to an annual salary of twelve hundred
and fifty dollars, in consideration of which he shall do all the
clerical labor of his office; and the County Commissioners are
hereby forbidden to increase said salary, or to give any extra
compensation to the said clerk for any work he may do in his
office.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That all Acts or parts of Acts in-
consistent with the provisions of this Act be and the same are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. Be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.
