such election district, Provided that nothing in this Act or
in any local law of Baltimore County shall be so construed as
to require farmers building in the rural territory of Baltimore
County, to secure permits. This provision, however, is not
applicable to the districts in which Inspectors of Buildings
have been previously created by existing local laws. -

CHAPTER 482.

AN ACT to repeal Section 451B of Article 11 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick Coun-
ty," sub-title "Treasurer," as enacted by the Act of 1896,
Chapter 177, as repealed and re-enacted by the Act of
1898, Chapter 486, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 451B of Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County," sub-title
"Treasurer," as enacted by the Act of 1896, Chapter 177, as
repealed and re-enacted by the Act of 1898, Chapter 486, be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, so as to read
as follows:

Section 451B. The, person elected County Treasurer, as
provided by law, before he proceeds to act as collector of
county taxes in each year, shall bond to the State of Mary-
land in the penalty of fifty thousand dollars, with good
and sufficient sureties, to be approved by the County Com-
missioners of said County, with the condition that if the
above-bound ....... shall well and faithfully execute his office

and shall account for and pay to the said County Commis-
sioners, or their order, the several sums of money which he
shall receive for said county, or be answerable for by law, at
such times as the law shall direct, then this obligation to be
void; otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue in
law; and the said County Treasurer, before he shall proceed
to act as collector of State taxes for said county in each year,
shall give a separate bond to the State of Maryland in a pen-
alty double the amount of the tax to be collected by him with
good and sufficient sureties to be approved by the Governor
of said State, with the condition that if the above bound
