and now standing on the books of the State to the credit of such
purpose, shall, instead of being applied to the building of said
hospital, be paid and applied to the purpose of establishing a
central colored industrial school in Charles County, as au-
thorized by this Act, said sum of two thousand dollars to be
paid to the County Board of Education of Charles County,
upon warrant of the Comptroller directed to the Treasurer, as
soon as this Act takes effect.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the County Board
of Education of Charles County is hereby authorized and di-
rected to establish in Charles County a central colored indus-
trial school, for the industrial education of colored children, in
accordance with and subject to the provisions of and entitled to
the rights conferred by sections 142 to 145 inclusive of Chap-
ter 506 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1916, the same being the revision of the educational laws of
this State.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the cost and ex-
pense incident to the establishment of said central colored in-
dustrial school, shall be paid for as follows: Two thousand dol-
lars thereof shall be paid by the State, as provided in Section
1 of this Act The remainder, which shall not exceed one
thousand dollars, shall be paid by Charles County, and for this
purpose the County Commissioners of Charles County are
hereby authorized and directed to include in their annual levy
first succeeding the passage of this Act, a levy upon all the
taxable property of Charles County sufficient to raise the said
sum of one thousand dollars.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after June 1, 1918.

CHAPTER 439.

AN ACT to repeal Section 28-B of Article 99 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, titled "Wild Fowl, Birds
and Game," as passed by the Legislature of Maryland, at
the Session of 1916, Chapter 384, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 28-B of Article 99, of the Code of Public
