dren, said school building to be constructed of brick, stone or
concrete and to contain not less than four school rooms, and to
be erected at the village of Rohrersville, Washington County,
either on the present school grounds or on a new site in the dis-
cretion of the said County Board of Education.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That immediately the
site for the new building and the plans therefor are approved
by the State Superintendent of Schools or State Board of Edu-
cation, the said County Board of Education shall procure such
site, if a new site be approved, and proceed to construct said
new school building and equip the same with a modern heating
system and new and proper furniture.
SEC. 4: And be it further enacted, That said County Com-
missioners of said Washington County, shall pay to the County
Board of Education of Washington County, the said sum of
Fifteen Thousand Dollars, or so much thereof as may be neces-
sary to carry out the provisions of this Act, at such times and
in such amounts as shall from time to time be expended by
said County Board of Education in carrying out the provisions
of this Act.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the said County
Board of Education shall sell the old school building, the pres-
ent site if a new site be procured, and, if approved by the State
Superintendent of Schools, the old furniture, and the proceeds
of such sale or sales shall be paid by the said County Board of
Education to the said County Commissioners of Washington
County and shall together with any part of the said sum of
Fifteen Thousand Dollars remaining in the hands of the said
County Commissioners of Washington County after the com-
pletion of said new school building and the equiping and fur-
nishing of the same, be used by said County Commissioners of
Washington County in constructing and maintaining the roads
and bridges of said county.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this law is hereby
declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate
preservation of the Public Health and Safety.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
