dred and ninety-six dollars and thirty-six cents from said funds
of said county to complete the said Woodmont-Glen Echo Road,
in said County, both of said roads being required to be built,
constructed and improved by said Special Election held in the
said Seventh Election District; and

WHEREAS, both of said roads lie wholly within the said
Seventh Election District of said County; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable that said sums of money so bor-
rowed, aggregating the sum of seven thousand four hundred
and twelve dollars and twenty-three cents ($7,412.23) should
be provided for and be paid off in two equal annual install-
ments by levy upon all the taxable property of said Seventh
flection District.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the action of the Board of County Commissioners
of Montgomery County in incurring the indebtedness by bor-
rowing the said sums in this Act recited and the action of the
said County Commissioners in advancing said sums of money,
aggregating the sum of seven thousand four hundred and twelve
dollars and twenty-three cents ($7,412.23), be and the same
are hereby ratified and confirmed; and the indebtedness in-
curred, be and the same is declared to be valid and subsisting,
and to be paid to said Montgomery County in two equal annual
installments by levy upon all the taxable property in said

Seventh Election District.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Montgomery County be, and they are hereby au-
thorized and empowered to levy a special tax at a rate not ex-
ceeding ten cents on each one hundred dollars of all the taxable
property in said Seventh Election District of said Montgomery
County in the year nineteen hundred and eighteen for the re-
payment to said County of one-half of the said aggregate sum
of seven thousand four hundred and twelve dollars and twenty-
three cents ($7,412.23) and to levy a special tax at a rate not
exceeding ten cents on each one hundred dollars of all the
taxable property in said Seventh Election District of said
Montgomery County in the year nineteen hundred and nine-
teen to repay to said County the other one-half of the Said
aggregate sum of seven thousand four hundred and twelve dol-
lars and twenty-three cents ($7,412.23) ; and the tax bills of
s.aid Seventh Election District, of said County, shall distinctly
state upon them for each of said years the specific purpose f6r
